Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Multicultural Service Center of South Sound (MSCSS)! Our programs are powered by community members who believe in welcoming newcomers, building connection, and supporting lifelong learning.
Our English Language Learning and U.S. Citizenship Preparation programs rely on volunteer tutors to create a warm, supportive learning environment for adults and families. As a small and growing organization, volunteers make it possible for us to keep our programs low-barrier, flexible, and responsive to the needs of our community.
Whether you can come regularly or just occasionally, your time and presence truly make a difference. Have questions? Contact us below!

We would love to welcome you.

Some volunteers join us weekly, others periodically. All levels of involvement are valued. We also welcome children in our space. Childcare should never be a barrier to learning or volunteering. We provide a cozy area with toys and games, and some children choose to participate in language learning alongside their parents.
